TRADE CENTRE UK OPENS ITS DOORS TO EUROPES LARGEST USED CAR SHOWROOM IN COVENTRY

Trade Centre UK officially opened the doors to its new £13 million used car showroom in Coventry on Saturday.
This opening saw thousands of car shoppers through the doors of its 115,000 square foot showroom which accommodates 1,500 cars, 400 housed inside the former premises of transformed Coventry Leekes furniture store.
Growth for Trade Centre UK in Coventry
The Coventry outlet is the second showroom for Trade Centre UK in the West Midlands, but the fifth for the overall group which also operates in South Wales under The Trade Centre Wales brand.
The company has already employed 130 staff within the local area, with plans to hire more in the coming months.
Successful opening weekend for latest Trade Centre UK showroom
Trade Centre UK Chairman Mark Bailey said: “The opening weekend exceeded our expectations and we saw a huge number of people over the bank holiday with more than 300 driving away with a new car.
“Our showroom has the same look and feel as our other showrooms in Neath, Merthyr, Cardiff North and our first showroom outside of Wales in Wednesbury – but is the largest in the group and actually the largest showroom in Europe.
“The car show room is also home to a new purpose-built state of the art customer care facility.
“The customers that I was privileged to meet during the opening weekend were amazed by the facilities and abundant choice of cars. We’re looking forward to welcoming lots more people over coming weeks and plan to sell over 400 cars a week – which we’re certainly on track for.”
Also commenting on the launch, Andy Coulthurst, CEO of The Trade Centre UK, said: “I’m not sure if it was fantastic weather that we enjoyed during the opening, but the hundreds of customers that I personally spoke to, enjoyed their visit and we had some brilliant feedback.
